The Climate Reality Project and Wings of Karen are part of Kevin Murphy’s philanthropy efforts and a huge reason why James Alan believes in their products. They are cruelty-free, use 100% recycled ocean waste packaging, and make a concerted effort in reducing their carbon footprint.

We use Brazilian Blowout because we want to invest in our clients’ hair. These customizable smoothing treatments actually improve the condition of the hair by creating a protective protein layer around the hair shaft to eliminate frizz and smooth the cuticle.

Dermalogica was founded in 1986 by Jane Wurwand and is the beauty industry’s resource for female entrepreneurs. Through their own FITE program, they offer small loans to women entrepreneurs’ growing their small businesses, train professionals in over 80 countries, and they’ve started an online education program that helps develop critical entrepreneurial business skills. Not only do they lead the industry with the best skincare products, they truly walk the talk. To date, Dermalogica has donated over $40,000 in cash, products, and training for the Justice and Soul Foundation.
